Right now he rolls from his tummy to his back and back to his tummy. Not every time but he can. I started him on rice cereal. When I started Joslyn on it she loved it, not Beck. I tried using my breast milk from the freezer and thawing it out, I tried fresh milk and pumping, I've tried heating up apple juice. It seemed he tolerated cold cereal with Apple juice the best, and this morning he liked it warmed up. I think He is just now getting use to the routine of eating cereal but he still really likes to just nurse. Beckham had a cold and a cough, and then one night his cough got really bad. I recorded it and sent it to my Dr and he thought it sounded like whooping cough. So we got him tested and put on antibiotics. We never did get a call back from the lab soo i'm guessing it wasn't whooping cough, but I'm glad he's feeling a lot better. He is still my happy chubby baby! I love looking at him and he instantly gives me a huge grin, It just makes my day. Here is his 5 month picture!<br />

Both my mom and my mother in law had there birthdays, Amber and Casey's family from Canada came and visited each of us and spent some time at our house, and My Aunt Jo Jo and her daughters Tiffany and her two kids stayed with us a couple nights. So it was pretty busy! When Amber and her family came the brothers wanted to do a guy thing with Casey and they all went motorcycle riding, so the next day us girls decided to get pedicures done. It was fun cause Lynnette had never had one before and its always fun to go with a newbie.<br />

I have been doing a crochet project this year where I am making a hat for every Sayre for their Birthday. They get to pick the type of hat (for the most part) and color and they wait till their birthday. Well I gave my mother-in-law her hat for her birthday, and since the Sayre's from Canada were coming I wanted to try and get all their hats done to save on shipping and the worry of whether or not it will get to them. So I did pretty good and got all but Casey's hat done. His birthday isn't until July so Hopefully if I mail it to him in June and it gets stuck in customs it will still reach him on his birthday.<br />

He has Mothers Days and my Birthday back to back and he tries really hard to make both really special. And I use to be horrible and reminding him how he better get it right. lol! Well Cory had to work all weekend long at the hospital so I just assumed nothing was going to happen for me on Mothers Days. Plus we just bought a brand new front load washer and dryer so I already got my presents early. So instead of moping around I wanted to focus this mothers day on what a mother is all about rather than the marketing and buying of presents. I woke up and I wasn't going to get stressed getting my family ready for 9:00 AM church, and I was going to have breakfast and lunch and dinner all prepared, and I was going to have a clean house. Well lets just say I got about 50% of all that accomplished. : ) Right before the kids and I were heading out the door for church Cory came home and he whipped out some flowers from behind his back. HE REMEMBERED!!!! I was so touched that he did that with his busy schedule. And than he grabbed the kids and Joslyn walked up and was dragging a big bag of tennis balls she couldn't carry because they were too heavy, and lying next to Beckham was a new tennis racket. Cory said I always ask him to go play tennis but we never could because I didn't own a racket so that made him want to get that for my mothers day gift. I thought it was soo sweet and thoughtful.<br />
<br />
Well Monday Cory told me not to make any plans because he had my birthday all planned out. I was surprised because again I wasn't trying to put my hopes up.. which ended up being a good thing..let me explain. Monday night after Cory's soccer game Beckham started having this really bad cough. I remembered our dear friend Dr. Fackrell told me to record anything and text it to him if I felt concerned. So I did just that even though it was 11:00 PM. I bet his wife hates it when I do that. Sorry Amy! Well at 2:00 AM (Technically the beginning of my birthday day) I got a text from the Doc saying that he thought it sounded like whooping cough and if he keeps at it and has a hard time breathing take him straight to the ER. Luckily Beckham just had that one coughing spell and slept the rest of the night so We brought him into the Dr.. office first thing in the morning. So imagine a husband who is trying his best to treat me special because its my birthday but at the same time he has a sick kid, he is sleep deprived and he isn't feeling well himself. Before we go to the dr. office Cory goes and gets Donuts and orange juice and we set out for the beginning of our adventure that day. Come to find out we need to start both Cory and Beckham on antibiotics and I have to get a booster shot for the Tdap. We drive all the way into Idaho Falls hospital to do lab tests to see if Beckham really does have pertussis or maybe its just bronchial. Well it takes up to 5 days to get the lab results and thats how long the antibiotics take, so we are just treating him as if he has it. Which means after last week in a half of the family having the flu we are once again on house arrest because we don't want anyone else to get this especially if they have babies.<br />
<br />
Cory did ask me what I wanted for my cake since all our plan had to cancel last minute and I had never tried an ice cream cake she he bought one from Dairy Queen and I have to say.. Now I know what the hype is all about. It was delicious! I told Cory we can do a rain check on my birthday if he wants, but really All I wanted after that day was for Beckham to get feeling better. Its funny how Birthdays use to be soo dang important and the world revolved around you, but now I just want to make sure everyone is taken care of and that they have that fun experience. I think thats why even though Cory wasn't feeling his 100% that he still wanted me to feel special on my birthday. So overall I had an awesome Mothers Day and Birthday despite all the unhealthy people in my life right now.<br />

I am a slacker and failed to post a 3 month update about Beckham. I was on top of it with Joslyn and kid #2 I'm already taking less pictures. But it's not because I love him less, its because I think we are having too much fun that I forget to think about the camera. Beck has been a different baby than Josie. He is more smiley, and is just a happy baby. He wants to be held or be noticed. Lately he has been playing this game where he will be sitting or laying somewhere and you here a little "whaa" come from him and Cory and I will turn our heads to look at him, and he stops and gives you a big grin. He's just a hoot. Well today I took him for his 4 month wellness visit, which means he had to get his shots. It's a love hate, I hate that he's in pain, but I love holding him all day just to try and comfort him. I'm ok with only doing that all day. Here are his stats:<br />
<br />
Height: 24 inches (25%)<br />
Weight: 14 lbs. (25%)<br />
<br />
It was fun to look at where Josie was at that same age. They are both at the same height but her 4 month weight was his 3 month weight. ha ha. I guess it's good this way, him being a little more filled out than what she was. Gotta love her! :)<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhA1crwq5fQfzbjg0Y8iIqC_32YpujHS5rUdMLNDhro99tIEJOVzbJGu67l1pNxI6_-P2EBbGfnyLePWnKGxMkvJCN2mH5QkQsZ-CP1oQx2KSOODgCiKyfE4R4gtS6ExgrLXNZVQlrcQpOv/s1600/CIMG3084.JPG" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhA1crwq5fQfzbjg0Y8iIqC_32YpujHS5rUdMLNDhro99tIEJOVzbJGu67l1pNxI6_-P2EBbGfnyLePWnKGxMkvJCN2mH5QkQsZ-CP1oQx2KSOODgCiKyfE4R4gtS6ExgrLXNZVQlrcQpOv/s320/CIMG3084.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5717594121119157362" /></a>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898051953277912441.post-68789977392042157792012-02-27T10:03:00.004-07:002012-03-08T11:26:11.909-07:00Beckhams 2 months old!<div style="text-align: left;">I took Beckham into his 8 week check up. He is pretty much a healthy little boy. His head and weight grew but his height stayed the same so he's growing outward and not taller. ha ha. She did an amazing job on them so of course I asked her if she had time if she would take Beckham's newborn pictures. She did, and they turned out so great. But it was only because she is an amazing photographer who was very patient with my son. Beckham wouldn't sleep or cooperate with the poses, and she kept peeing and pooping all over her blankets. I went to her house the first day and he just wasn't going to have it, so then she came to my house and brought all her props. Here are a few of his pictures, if you want to see them all you can see them on my facebook page!<div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJpYyJecpOP-3kiUHW8QaZrLwqVYCtxEliq_q3ZQBIUJGfCMZrE2cScNikwplG9kvyrmC0yCu3AFRB-GYSGxRdZTP9IP6wrROJzz6obmJwWFjBUaeG6D3eEJ7Tu2p8Q7G1ltiDUkDPYb7b/s1600/_DSC5994.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 228px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJpYyJecpOP-3kiUHW8QaZrLwqVYCtxEliq_q3ZQBIUJGfCMZrE2cScNikwplG9kvyrmC0yCu3AFRB-GYSGxRdZTP9IP6wrROJzz6obmJwWFjBUaeG6D3eEJ7Tu2p8Q7G1ltiDUkDPYb7b/s320/_DSC5994.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5711650470535225458" /><br /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSl7nz2Oz9TSo3G1v8kMskG86UBWvmECyEKWIByd-QGrBBN_7RIHs4jpFDHuwR1_TNWN-ecxLUNlGbphjF7jiZB7hus49Z0d7ksZB0MR27choG47ifz9Y8Ka2Q1mgTvfRqGZhX1r36WEzZ/s1600/_DSC5478.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 213px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSl7nz2Oz9TSo3G1v8kMskG86UBWvmECyEKWIByd-QGrBBN_7RIHs4jpFDHuwR1_TNWN-ecxLUNlGbphjF7jiZB7hus49Z0d7ksZB0MR27choG47ifz9Y8Ka2Q1mgTvfRqGZhX1r36WEzZ/s320/_DSC5478.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5711650459838577922" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWJx5AkRG3H88oasWziVS5vW3P-Wn6T9TyG1tMO_MerNLWCBgfUNarZ4BmhG35E6X9S2EWN-FgyEmqEu5svvq63FmP8jU8j5YJwH5tz-O0CvSDVAbfk_5ekbRdmEWSyiKdJATVgFDcUqXk/s1600/_DSC5463.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 229px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWJx5AkRG3H88oasWziVS5vW3P-Wn6T9TyG1tMO_MerNLWCBgfUNarZ4BmhG35E6X9S2EWN-FgyEmqEu5svvq63FmP8jU8j5YJwH5tz-O0CvSDVAbfk_5ekbRdmEWSyiKdJATVgFDcUqXk/s320/_DSC5463.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5711650436583022658" /></a><br /></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898051953277912441.post-68757821497757186822012-02-20T20:55:00.008-07:002012-02-21T09:50:15.758-07:00Remember me?I think a whole year went by and I didn't touch my blog. I guess that means it was a busy year! Well between working, being a wife and mom, and just living, I had to re-prioritize and cut off some items on my to do list. Well now I have a little extra time and I like to post about our busy life, mainly because I can look back at my posts as a journal.So now its catch up time! For starters.. I was pregnant and then had another baby! yup! I got a little grief about not letting a lot of people knowing and not giving up dates throughout the pregnancy on facebook. I didn't want to jinks the pregnancy, after have gone through two mis-carriages, I didn't really want to reveal too much unless it was official. My doctor told me he was going out of town and that the last day he could deliver my child was December 26th. So we scheduled an appointment at the hospital and I was induced. Started at 9:30AM and Beckham Cory Sayre entered the world at 2:33PM. Everything went really well and Beckham is a healthy baby boy. Was a little jaundice at first but that only lasted about 2 weeks.<div><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgLh89PRXO2itORqelQY8OStgTbViH9LwAPsMs30rH9se1mnFaiYPJK5ssdVRJBCQuy7KqIwl3aBThKkDP-eXpUDbbXqRSQyU9PVxoCMEyIRFltavpLl5gGoF1J9JT-kJFqhCwGMSsrsX-/s320/CIMG2920.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5711438852306265250" /><div><br /></div><div>Here is Beckham's one month old picture.<div style="text-align: center;"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkEjCN3WYEJ14v3uScftmlnxFEGzJUdy1lFVsY4s1CSsncItyeEg8svbTewpd9fNcoyoTdG7YMU98Fr5zzIq7PIfj4fQJRHWtzlS5sInHBb70TtL76KxvjrsKUQPI3RHCIaEr5OM5wBJbC/s320/CIMG2964.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5711438901812401426" /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div>When I took him in at his 6 weeks check up they gave me his stats:</div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Weight: 10 pounds</div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Height: 21 inches</div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Head circumference: 15 inches</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">It was a relief to finally here a Doctor say whatever you are doing keep it up. With Joslyn I got a lot of grief about how petite she was, and that I wasn't feeding her enough. Well I'm doing the exact same thing and my boy just I guess doesn't want to be as petite. ha ha He is pretty dang strong though. On the day we brought him home, I gave him tummy time and he rolled from his belly to his back. I thought it was a fluke, but then he did it again. Two weeks later He was crying on his belly and then rolled over again. Again I put him on his belly and he rolled over. He holds his head up really well, and pushes against his feet like he wants to stand up. He didn't stay newborn for very long, just seems like he is already growing up way too fast. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Funny story real quick: the first week that we had Beckham in our home, Joslyn wasn't sure what to think of him. She was starting to go through some changes, like dis-obey more, not go to bed easy anymore, etc. Well she wasn't listening to me when I asked her to get her pajamas on. She just sat in one baby seats. Well I placed Beckham on her bed so I could grab her pj's out of her dresser. That got her going! she stood up, walked over to her bed, got on the stool to climb onto the bed, crawled towards Beck, and then on all fours hovered over and yelled "Get out!". I just stood still watching this in surprise thinking, did that just come out of my little sweet girl? Then she yelled it again. "Get out!", grabbed a pillow and threw it at his face. Luckily I was there so I caught the pillow before it hit his face. I had a hard time laughing and had to tell Joslyn that it wasn't nice to say or do that to her little brother and that she needed to be gentle. Needless to say we are past this stage, and now she is a great help with her little brother and loves to take care of him. And yes he is allowed on her bed now. Well that's the up date. I am going to try and be better at posting this year now that I am a stay at home mom. Until next post!</div><div style="text-align: left;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898051953277912441.post-88366229797056562682011-03-07T21:51:00.004-07:002011-03-07T22:13:10.165-07:00Count your many blessingsSo lately I have been feeling like I need to look at all the good in my life rather than complaining all the time like I normally do! Well it all started on Saturday when when I was hanging out with Joslyn at KFC just passing the time till we needed to pick up Cory from work. I noticed a mom with her daughter eating dinner with her dad and you could tell that he bought them dinner because they couldn't. I don't know why but I instantly thought about how it must be hard for her to get a job, and that I should be grateful that I was able to get a job so quickly.<div><br /></div><div>Than at church Bro. Balmforth in my ward talked about a story in the ensign that I had just read on how we should look on the bright side of things rather than complain. And it made me think again about how fortunate I am to have a job at a dental office.</div><div><br /></div><div>Than randomly on Monday I got a call for an interview for a medical sales rep position. I didn't think that I would have a shot , but was actually really excited for the possibility to make some good money like I use to when I was working at Melaleuca. Then I went and sat in the waiting room and there was an established older gentleman inter-viewing for the same position. I thought "crap, I can't go against someone who actually has experience". But decided to give my best. During the interview process, lets just say it went awful, I don't think they will call me for a second interview.. she basically said there were more qualified applicants, and offered me a job in customer service (slap in the face).. So I walked out feeling horrible, and then I noticed that the waiting room now had at least five people sitting and waiting to be interviewed for the same position, and I saw someone who use to be a MIT with me at Melaleuca. </div><div><br /></div><div>That was the first time that the economic hardship has really hit me. there were so many people going for this same position. Jobs have always come really easy for me but I knew I wasn't going to get this one, because the best of the best was going to get this job, because the company can be that picky. But even though I felt even crappier, again I had the feeling that I should remember how blessed that I was able to have a job as a front desk receptionist. I mean pay is decent, i get free dental, and I only work 3.5 days out of the week. Yea I wish I could find a job where I don't feel like i'm on the bottom of the totem pole, and that I'm challenged and get great pay like when I lived the corporate life, but I need to focus on the fact that I was fortunate unlike a lot of american to get not only a good high school education but I was able to get a bachelors degree, and get a stable job, I'm lucky to have a wonderful supportive husband that when work calls and says they need my help, that he is willing to watch not only our daughter but our nephew because I had promised to watch him, I'm blessed that we can pay our bills that we have and slowly pay the debt that we have to we can try to get ahead. a week ago I wanted to have a melt down because I didn't think we had enough and now I can't help but think we have soo much. </div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898051953277912441.post-67946651144969272232011-02-21T15:46:00.004-07:002011-02-21T16:06:31.414-07:00February crazinessFebruary has been a crazy month for us. Seems like life is on fast forward in the Sayre home. Both Cory and I are working now, and we both switch off taking care of Joslyn and the house work on our days off, plus Cory is doing school, and I'm in young womans. So we are constantly busy.. so February decided to through so much busy things at us like, super bowl sunday, valentines day and Presidents day. ha ha<div><br /></div><div>Well Super Bowl Sunday was not a very good memory for us. Brom was very ill and had had two operations because he swallowed one of Joslyn's binky. We were hoping he would turn around and get better even though he was septic. Well as we were driving to Blackfoot to do the whole super bowl fun at my bro. and sis.-in-law's place, we get a call from one of the vets. she said that Brom was getting worse fast, and that now would be a time to say good bye and put him down so he wouldn't suffer any more. So we quickly turned around and stayed with Brom till his last breath. </div><div><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxyo2Pn_Lehvu7sEXphvaMM_MG9VltELogOb-OKth30mNfpD6qKLJthAKAQuxM5WbS0hyphenhyphenzzRI9btE3nFvzrgrJgoadteeIt3oQWubK8s7I7HqhUY0cjq46RG3OgvTOPp7a742RJ_js1k10/s1600/IMAG0017.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 191px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxyo2Pn_Lehvu7sEXphvaMM_MG9VltELogOb-OKth30mNfpD6qKLJthAKAQuxM5WbS0hyphenhyphenzzRI9btE3nFvzrgrJgoadteeIt3oQWubK8s7I7HqhUY0cjq46RG3OgvTOPp7a742RJ_js1k10/s320/IMAG0017.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5576282480246646642" /></a></div><div>next was Valentines Day... that was def. a pick me up holiday that Cory and I needed. We both had been feeling down because of the death of Brom. Cory and I got each other presents, but I thinkwe both were more excited watching Joslyn open her presents from us. Cory got her a purple bouncy ball, and i got her a book that reads to her as she turns the pages. My friend and I made an amazing romantic dinner for our hubbys. We made a copy cat chicken madeira from the cheese cake factory, then we did choc. fondue for dessert dipping strawberries, oreos, and marshmallows in the choc. it was all delicious!</div><div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhC8buWEmpABFTNV55TeIv7H2RMSkAJ5CdU9MBkBpWxsmP_1YElf0JBHzlHj6Cq-o7nC7wzTM6ISIBvNiDLW_HHWM5Isl0yLrJLSO-grxsMBCnWuRsR-WMUUgWl85RwjW78LNF4Uyja0W4h/s1600/CIMG2696.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhC8buWEmpABFTNV55TeIv7H2RMSkAJ5CdU9MBkBpWxsmP_1YElf0JBHzlHj6Cq-o7nC7wzTM6ISIBvNiDLW_HHWM5Isl0yLrJLSO-grxsMBCnWuRsR-WMUUgWl85RwjW78LNF4Uyja0W4h/s320/CIMG2696.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5576282056916774914" /></a></div><div>Presidents Day so far has been busy with getting income taxes finished off, errands, shoveling more snow, visiting teachers, and getting my house ready for the week. Lets just say my house has been neglected when cory stays home with joslyn. but hey he takes really good care of Joslyn so I can't complain. So maybe I'll be able to catch some shopping before the stores close. But I had to do something fun with joslyn so we built a fort and read books together, and played with our baby dolls! ha ha.. I love this stage... now I just need to figure out how to make her talk. I hope everyone else's February is a lot slower paced and fun than mine has, but I wouldn't trade this moment for anything. I love how close our family is growing with this new stage of our lives. </div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjASGdzBFs550-kjHVvRC1fx2uW2vNNWen_-jMjMtuLBe25126dWYXCI58kSP7q1re-76TrO-hHQ8WmFmK9n_9-IZH3ZUOMNddudJlB4HOOPwGif0NuEcd35DMgqyWkP9T8UAyXCLGBXsSI/s1600/CIMG2712.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjASGdzBFs550-kjHVvRC1fx2uW2vNNWen_-jMjMtuLBe25126dWYXCI58kSP7q1re-76TrO-hHQ8WmFmK9n_9-IZH3ZUOMNddudJlB4HOOPwGif0NuEcd35DMgqyWkP9T8UAyXCLGBXsSI/s320/CIMG2712.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5576282070461142674" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOX7mXxL6fcbOlJYb10P4QUBlOtZgsGBi3_MToVIu7uUXgPxilDNnVUL_KHVicCiv6a-SF9z-bJ2ULwKe4CAcQ2oDpc3YgzBYvoHgbbEA21C5_iU7QpB7E_DVdWhdFXgy7mPs7jYFvyXFM/s1600/CIMG2708.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOX7mXxL6fcbOlJYb10P4QUBlOtZgsGBi3_MToVIu7uUXgPxilDNnVUL_KHVicCiv6a-SF9z-bJ2ULwKe4CAcQ2oDpc3YgzBYvoHgbbEA21C5_iU7QpB7E_DVdWhdFXgy7mPs7jYFvyXFM/s320/CIMG2708.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5576282065291626146" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5fNhruiioXB_KowOtoUQgyduk6Ko1e5Ts9baLrwfFFGk4pOzN6kgYTkU03er6fOapShSVJFYYSKrApEgHA5nd0PqFNuj0XVWlp4zCZQ6-IF_cu-AzsuH22BhbhDAm2aovXiPhPgNvZqdJ/s1600/CIMG2704.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5fNhruiioXB_KowOtoUQgyduk6Ko1e5Ts9baLrwfFFGk4pOzN6kgYTkU03er6fOapShSVJFYYSKrApEgHA5nd0PqFNuj0XVWlp4zCZQ6-IF_cu-AzsuH22BhbhDAm2aovXiPhPgNvZqdJ/s320/CIMG2704.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5576282063324167714" /><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-VB1oGxtKMxbADuquQMV-PkYXwAaLYe30zsgOVAxC7qI7F-GtpT-wgiVCnTWtDHkn9DA4plYWqZkE6rQFSyBwS4qVAj7YfBopQ6GuvOrnENNIfxCEiszsnGjR5YP-sE1AGjeJ8MOW9ms5/s320/CIMG2679.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5576282049806013922" /></a>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898051953277912441.post-3128510616386724772011-01-16T19:29:00.003-07:002011-01-16T19:49:41.100-07:00I'll love you forever<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhL-LX29S1z7evnzymfiRpGOUXTFeFKo-aVF0XNfLjm8V5IgSodoNXnQhdIXIL1df1-1oRQsIcwCLNXS7vMKYOKYRCmPCYtZAf6pcorJU-AvZsJCIOQf9a0mes3mTmyUt4aF918yXdJ5xdr/s1600/CIMG2627.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhL-LX29S1z7evnzymfiRpGOUXTFeFKo-aVF0XNfLjm8V5IgSodoNXnQhdIXIL1df1-1oRQsIcwCLNXS7vMKYOKYRCmPCYtZAf6pcorJU-AvZsJCIOQf9a0mes3mTmyUt4aF918yXdJ5xdr/s320/CIMG2627.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5562976963645572450" /></a><br />I couldn't help but think of one of my favorite books as a child <i>I'll Love you Forever</i> by Robert Munsch as I caught Joslyn unraveling our toilet paper in the bathroom. I don't know why but she really likes to explore and play in that room. I could get upset but I can't help but laugh and think how cute she is. <div><br /></div><div>Well this has been a pretty emotional month for me. Okay not really, but kind of. This month has been the weaning month. I just didn't taper off like most people because Joslyn just liked nursing and so I just kept at it. But when I would ask how often my friends nursed at 10 months or 11 months old I was nursing much more than they were. Then the holidays came and I did not want to have to deal with her not nursing while traveling on a plane and being in a different house for a couple of weeks. So January became the month. Nursing for 13 months isn't so bad right?!</div><div><br /></div><div>Well I decided to take one nursing session out at a time and leave the night time nursing to be the last one. Well Joslyn handled it like a pro until I took out the morning time. I did it on a Sunday which wasn't fun. Cory was at work and she was cranky... plus at that time she wasn't liking vitamin D milk too well. But as I pushed the milk she did great. TONIGHT is the first time we put her down with out nursing. I mean we have put her down before for the night with out nursing because of going on a date and the babysitter didn't have the goods, but I would always nurse her once I got back. </div><div><br /></div><div>Last night I wanted it to be her last good nursing time.. even though she didn't realize it and wouldn't ever remember. But she fell asleep because I had to go pick up Cory from work. the Car always puts her to sleep. So once we got home I woke her up and let her nurse as long as she wants. Truth be told I did it for me. </div><div><br /></div><div>When I first started to nurse I couldn't understand when my mom would ask me "Don't you just love nursing?" When I first started to nurse it was painful. I couldn't understand why anyone nursed their kids. I seriously would have quit if I didn't have a great husband and a mom to cheer me on. but after two 1/2 months of painful nursing it slowly started to be okay. So then a couple of months it was easy to nurse and then teeth came in and then it hurt again, or the one nigh that Joslyn decided to get nipple confusion because of me working and giving her a bottle. I got huge that night because she wouldn't nurse and it hurt. But now that I've gone through it all I'm glad I didn't quit. If I would have quit I wouldn't get to experience the learning process between a mom and child, or the special moments when you catch a cute side smile while nursing, or when they are just soo anxious to nurse just for comfort and only you can do that. I like to feel needed and to care for someone and Joslyn let me do that this past year and hopefully for a long time. </div><div><br /></div><div>I know Cory felt a little left out in the beginning and wanted to be able to put Joslyn down for the night but couldn't really because well he didn't have what I have. So tonight I asked him if he wanted to do the honor. I didn't have to ask him twice. He is such a great dad and I hate to admit it but there is no way I could do this on my own or without him. I rely on him way too much. But we said prayers as a family and then Dad tucked Joslyn in her crib. I took a picture to remember that Jan. 16th was the first day of her starting her big girl stage. </div><div><br /></div><div>Joslyn <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 15px; ">I'll <em style="font-weight: bold; font-style: normal; ">love you forever</em>, I'll like you for always, As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.</span></div><div><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjz6Q4VOoBNPrMFrOp-RgRiVg2xORQELaZd1KCeOl3SoBjzP4S3oW3egPgFcK-quNeZOYo59zLkMTSXJcS47CBYdLv0B-bOBj4T_rialS_F58CZgx9dG9Zuc-rS5NeT7TiZPoWn5OafAGGB/s1600/CIMG2634.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjz6Q4VOoBNPrMFrOp-RgRiVg2xORQELaZd1KCeOl3SoBjzP4S3oW3egPgFcK-quNeZOYo59zLkMTSXJcS47CBYdLv0B-bOBj4T_rialS_F58CZgx9dG9Zuc-rS5NeT7TiZPoWn5OafAGGB/s320/CIMG2634.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5562976969602192226" /></a></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898051953277912441.post-61727962559593803932011-01-06T15:00:00.002-07:002011-01-06T15:26:02.553-07:00One year Mark!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbevAJ3pLoxLZzsHsdTrUUntCqinFI5V8Q7CxzA8YrD86mltTvWhgwjFKv9mOE8gvQYYQ12CQawsDfK_KH0AUhoOH-CA_6VGVu1ZxMIJYBQfSdKb_ogCSaRu1v6MAUjjjKEM1kHoKyDkYO/s1600/CIMG2583.JPG"><br /><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbevAJ3pLoxLZzsHsdTrUUntCqinFI5V8Q7CxzA8YrD86mltTvWhgwjFKv9mOE8gvQYYQ12CQawsDfK_KH0AUhoOH-CA_6VGVu1ZxMIJYBQfSdKb_ogCSaRu1v6MAUjjjKEM1kHoKyDkYO/s320/CIMG2583.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5559196692294314562" /></a>So I know I already posted about Joslyn's 1st Birthday. But we did celebrate it early and we weren't able to go in for her one year doc appointment till this week. But Josie officially turned one while we were in Oklahoma. I wanted to do something special for her so I made rice Krispy treats and stuck a candle in it for her and sang her Happy Birthday on her true day at night Because she was born in the evening. <div><br /></div><div>It was a really weird Christmas for me this year.. I was surrounded by all of my family and Cory was still in Idaho because he had to work Christmas day but that didn't bother me as much as I could help but reflect on last Christmas when our whole focus was on getting ready for our baby girl. We brought her home on Christmas Eve and no present or christmas decoration could make me happier than to be with my little baby! I still can't believe she is one. I thought that it would be so much easier once she turned that magical number but all of a sudden I feel like there is a lot of pressure on me getting pregnant again. I mean I want a family and I want Joslyn to have siblings but I still feel like I just had her, but if I don't get pregnant soon than I could mess up the whole two years spacing, and I don't want to be still getting pregnant in my thirties. I want to be able to have fun by then with my kids rather than taking the back seat all the time. sooo... thanks a whole lot for turning one Joslyn. j.k... no I'm excited but scared. Growing up is full of decisions and responsibility and it's scary. </div><div><br /></div><div>Well here are Joslyns' one year check up- we changed Doctors. We were going to the Pediactric Center, and we like them ( we really like Dr. Olson) but we just felt like maybe going to our friend Dr. Fackrell. So he did Josie's 1 yr. check up and here it goes:</div><div><ul><li>Head circumference: 17 inches (25th percentile)</li><li>Weight: 17 pounds (3rd percentile)</li><li>Lenghth: 28 1/2 inches (25th percentile)</li></ul><div>Dr. Fackrell was really nice and Cory was really nice but I could help but cry after the appointment. One mainly because shots seem to hurt more for a one year old, and the other is the concern still with her weight. I can't help but feel like I'm failing as a parent and that is why my daughter isn't as chunky as she ought to be. We are weaning her off of nursing and onto vitamin D milk. At first she hated it, and she didn't even care for chocolate milk or warm milk like what was suggested. I just had to keep pushing milk, and she prefers it plain and cold. So hopefully with her taking whole milk this will help her gain the appropriate weight and dr.'s and husbands won't be looking at me like "why isn't she bigger?"</div><div><br /></div><div>but this is what Joslyn has been up to:</div><div><ul><li>she has a total of 6 teeth that have cut through (4 on top, 2 on bottom)</li><li>she likes to crawl with this extra wiggle her her hips and shaking her head - very dramatic</li><li>she pulls her self up and walks only with walker, while holding onto a finger, but never by herself.</li><li>she still has a thing for playing with q-tips and tampons</li><li>she loves to wear fake pearls and have mom pretend to put make up on her</li><li>she loves to dance like nobodies business</li><li>she screeches all the time</li><li>her hair finally fits in pig tails- sooo cute!</li><li>she can wave good bye, direct music by waving her arms in the air when music is playing, say milk in sign language, and clap her hands when you say patty cake.</li><li>she will give kisses when you ask, but she will also deny you... she is very selective on who she kisses.</li><li>we let her play with crayons only when she has a binky in she so doesn't eat it.</li></ul><div>there are probably tons more that she can do, but I can't remember them all. I hope everyday that I am teaching her what she needs and that I'm not slacking. I am so grateful that I get to stay home with her. I know it is a struggle for us and we can't have whatever we want anymore but have to budget now but it is such a blessing to be a stay at home mom and I take it seriously. I love you Joslyn with all my heart!</div></div><div><br /></div></div><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDZkMhqMt6Qv2GCWpmn0_053BgE5gbzxSG1vnjBbajec6HTuoNHIHu-CnW_l0DpkcMYdyHhUutaLtBlkP2DjV9xPLKtAVJeKrlNJ1FpfMp7MS8Oay5lgKjS5I1VV7v07l3UHSN8zEYRHOV/s1600/CIMG2601.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDZkMhqMt6Qv2GCWpmn0_053BgE5gbzxSG1vnjBbajec6HTuoNHIHu-CnW_l0DpkcMYdyHhUutaLtBlkP2DjV9xPLKtAVJeKrlNJ1FpfMp7MS8Oay5lgKjS5I1VV7v07l3UHSN8zEYRHOV/s320/CIMG2601.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5559202569956375106" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQlU81PhvUSH5E1oCM3CwimGEB58oLPs3oaX8JojN_DdOacviFMibZqBt1ibwPNZpWIhAO4DZjIDrJez6dFyMM8WTyFJTyj4XhP7h8BpYVSV6q1wjXZVIgAUsFt922tyMohkM6f2GR196c/s1600/CIMG2591.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQlU81PhvUSH5E1oCM3CwimGEB58oLPs3oaX8JojN_DdOacviFMibZqBt1ibwPNZpWIhAO4DZjIDrJez6dFyMM8WTyFJTyj4XhP7h8BpYVSV6q1wjXZVIgAUsFt922tyMohkM6f2GR196c/s320/CIMG2591.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5559202560006522418" /></a>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898051953277912441.post-6239469192760083992010-12-15T11:35:00.003-07:002010-12-15T13:17:04.710-07:00Joslyn's Early Birthday Partylet me explain... My daughter was born on December 22nd... enough explanation right?! Well there is more. So Cory and I are leaving at different times to fly to Oklahoma for the Holidays. This year we are going to spend time with my family. But due to Cory's work schedule and that my mom begged for me to stay for a long time to help her get ready for last minute christmas stuff Cory won't be around on the 22nd when Josie officially turns one. Well because my nature is to please everyone and I feel bad no matter what i do, I wanted to at least celebrate Josie's birth in Idaho so her father can witness the whole opening presents and digging into the cake. SO on December 9th we did a little family get together for Josie's early owl Birthday party.<div><br /></div><div>You see this whole year we kind of did an owl theme for Joslyn, and so we got her a charm to make an owl bracelet (thanks mom), she dressed up as a owl for halloween, I made her an owl beanie to keep her warm, so naturally we had to do an owl birthday. My friend Jen knows how to digital scrapbook and she made jose a cute invitation that I was able to send out to everyone... I attempted making an owl cake and cory frosted the owl cupcakes. we made Josie a birthday owl banner, and owl gift bags for her cousins, and she had a blast. </div><div><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdL11tr1dKcSnbKccS1cmUvWDO4CqZQ8m58-fjkhA8fhadmEQ4HfUoEP5e8BpQroxDIhFNLXqP1GhiHQIZ7cxMM_B5V0X3EyMCeM90enevU5nfvecFpsHnLcWkdbJoUZziN_cmIaJe7AtO/s1600/birthday+invitation.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdL11tr1dKcSnbKccS1cmUvWDO4CqZQ8m58-fjkhA8fhadmEQ4HfUoEP5e8BpQroxDIhFNLXqP1GhiHQIZ7cxMM_B5V0X3EyMCeM90enevU5nfvecFpsHnLcWkdbJoUZziN_cmIaJe7AtO/s320/birthday+invitation.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5551002603787020738" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjLalDl1g2IghELA_OD6lZIicVqrX0QAgmhf-7e7d7JGo2Xy37_iJ48VGo_kBAlkpWXbynvMfBHqdYjJnahyphenhyphenMpbKEb68d-VHAjMDZNSTZudgH990U47J1Firw2WQsStZYWbDOtyyQAD0cs/s1600/CIMG2550.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjLalDl1g2IghELA_OD6lZIicVqrX0QAgmhf-7e7d7JGo2Xy37_iJ48VGo_kBAlkpWXbynvMfBHqdYjJnahyphenhyphenMpbKEb68d-VHAjMDZNSTZudgH990U47J1Firw2WQsStZYWbDOtyyQAD0cs/s320/CIMG2550.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5551002646077840530" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizJbOnFw8mppSJFCcMJEPThavFcV7_w0eZgrMDYdrXklySRH55gcLC3cpnATazT9RzLx9HpTGuhQtqLHZQ9U1-GhSfUrJIteKIfMEd0QZz0CPPxP9dObVC6q7RihhMXIRj4VWtPOyhSrn0/s1600/CIMG2541.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizJbOnFw8mppSJFCcMJEPThavFcV7_w0eZgrMDYdrXklySRH55gcLC3cpnATazT9RzLx9HpTGuhQtqLHZQ9U1-GhSfUrJIteKIfMEd0QZz0CPPxP9dObVC6q7RihhMXIRj4VWtPOyhSrn0/s320/CIMG2541.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5551002636042424482" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyhWY2fF-9U6K5rYnIdn7P5yQ_y7xgjoUSb3and9crO6WbwmgdWkCgf2jd6k6H3uCZfHc9eIq_z8ivr33_M7Jjtn49U4cvRZlZea07kkUzBB9FSMl67SoNU0aJ_mv6CG_hcHfhC07pNlFK/s1600/CIMG2540.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyhWY2fF-9U6K5rYnIdn7P5yQ_y7xgjoUSb3and9crO6WbwmgdWkCgf2jd6k6H3uCZfHc9eIq_z8ivr33_M7Jjtn49U4cvRZlZea07kkUzBB9FSMl67SoNU0aJ_mv6CG_hcHfhC07pNlFK/s320/CIMG2540.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5551002625937953234" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3OF1BVW5AJ102T-JW7NiAnJa0whprBpp4722G7vkChaU6773LhKI2xlypzAIAoLBqYTrzGmDzoS4iN4WrpRzFrVqmhjkIdiFYh00OMMfo_MYn9A2LzFoTmPv6dbhU4pl_P9JVNrHVKP3y/s1600/CIMG2521.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3OF1BVW5AJ102T-JW7NiAnJa0whprBpp4722G7vkChaU6773LhKI2xlypzAIAoLBqYTrzGmDzoS4iN4WrpRzFrVqmhjkIdiFYh00OMMfo_MYn9A2LzFoTmPv6dbhU4pl_P9JVNrHVKP3y/s320/CIMG2521.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5551002614845387778" /></a><br /><br /></div><div>I want to thank everyone who came to her party. Last week was on optimism. After the wonderful lesson that our president gave I decided to be more optimistic and complain less... lets just say that on day 1 I failed that new goal. I had a self-pity moment that lasted about 2 in a half days. Eventually I got through this week and I was able to get last minute items done for Joslyn's early 1 year birthday party (I will post about her party soon). <div><br /></div><div>I'm trying to prepare for this Sunday's lesson for my girls and it's on Gratitude and Appreciation. Perfect.... I failed last weeks lesson so maybe round two I can be better. Well I cam across a wonderful poem from sugardoodle.net and the poem was talking about my house and pathetic trials, but is how I ought to be thinking more. I hope you all enjoy it, it really lifted me spirit up!</div><div><br /></div><div><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Century Gothic', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; "> Lord, thank you for this sink of dirty dishes;</span></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Century Gothic', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; "><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">We have plenty of food to eat.</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">Thank you for this pile of dirty, stinky laundry;</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">We have plenty of nice clothes to wear.</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">And I would like to thank you, Lord, for those unmade beds;</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">They were so warm and comfortable last night.</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">I know that many have no bed.</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">My thanks to you, Lord, for this bathroom,</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">Complete with all the splattered mirrors, soggy, grimy towels and dirty lavatory;</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">They are so convenient.</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">Thank you for this finger-smudged refrigerator that needs defrosting so badly;</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">It has served us faithfully for many years.</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">It is full of cold drinks and enough leftovers for two or three meals.</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">Thank you, Lord, for this oven that absolutely must be cleaned today.</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">It has baked so many things over the years.</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">The whole family is grateful for that tall grass that needs mowing,</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">The lawn that needs raking;</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">We all enjoy the yard.</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">Thank you, Lord, even for that slamming screen door.</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">My kids are healthy and able to run and play.</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">Lord, the presence of all these chores awaiting me says</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">You have richly blessed my family.</p></div><div><p style="text-align: center; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; ">I shall do them cheerfully and I shall do them gratefully.<br /></p></div></span></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898051953277912441.post-7007650951534846892010-12-04T14:00:00.001-07:002010-12-04T14:11:35.874-07:00Josie meeting Santa Claus!<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dxdYf6TqK3CNnz0lGIvk6aakph3YqbkwDmwoM1FLb0jJFawBKeJruADcKuEtP7D0Lb1vmXOEE6KkQD3Uw5ZFg' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898051953277912441.post-51789926808791013662010-11-30T13:47:00.002-07:002010-11-30T15:39:15.034-07:00we shoveled all this by hand! But the first year has the most changes and I'm doing this more for me so I don't forget all that she did in her first year. I promise not to be so crazy and post month by month once Joslyn turns one!<div><br /></div><div>But here are her stats:</div><div>I weighed her at her best-a-mama's house: 16. 2 pounds (so she hasn't really gained any weight)</div><div>she loves to pretend that she is walking all over the place, but she has to be holding on to something or someone. I have witnessed her standing all by herself for a whole 10 seconds and then she just sat herself down. So I know she will be walking by herself soon but I think we will try to be patient and let her decide when she wants to. she loves to dance, and yell gibberish. She is the entertainment at dinner time at the Sayre household. She loves playing with cousins and friends. She think knocking a water bottle off the coffee table is the most hilarious thing in the world. She loves climbing up stairs (but can't figure out how to go down correctly). Well that sums up her 11 month mark. one more month and then the big birthday! I will be posting her party pictures soon because I have to celebrate her birthday before we fly out to Oklahoma, since Cory is leaving later than us. I want him to be a part of her first birthday ever! so stay tuned!</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898051953277912441.post-43444255200033739932010-11-22T09:37:00.003-07:002010-11-22T09:50:12.085-07:004 Years and going!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUd_Bq2ePzxZkY_1UmC_FBUJUUkeiwKaRhXbmRRCuVbRrC-yYBytq_sko_BO7QGIG2i7YehVRh1EVEL-2Nkda7-HfotSpM5LnesBqXzaEV9YjwXWVa602_pgt6cCmhNvcnG_HnDc6IuTZO/s1600/DSC02211.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUd_Bq2ePzxZkY_1UmC_FBUJUUkeiwKaRhXbmRRCuVbRrC-yYBytq_sko_BO7QGIG2i7YehVRh1EVEL-2Nkda7-HfotSpM5LnesBqXzaEV9YjwXWVa602_pgt6cCmhNvcnG_HnDc6IuTZO/s320/DSC02211.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5542417357393732386" /></a><br />Today is our Anniversary! Cory is working the day shift at the hospital so we decided to celebrate on saturday. It was a lot of fun!.... well let me start from the beginning.<div><br /></div><div>Friday night we got invited to watch the midnight show of the new Harry Potter movie in Blackfoot for free! So Joslyn went to the Robbins for her first sleep over, and Cory and I watched the movie. It was amazing, but long! We didn't get home until 4:00AM! Josie wakes up at 6:00AM so I went over to the Robbins to pick her up and nurse her. Lets just say I wasn't a very good mother that morning being sleep deprived. </div><div><br /></div><div>I finally got up and started getting ready around 9:30 AM. Cory left the house, and I started to get ready for his surprise date. I love it when he's gone so I can try and look my best for him. My sister in law offered to watch Josie while we went out..... Well I reserved us private dancing lessons to learn the argentine tango. That is his favorite dance to watch on dancing with the stars, plus he served his mission in argentina. </div><div><br /></div><div>I have to say I loved dancing with him, and having him take charge in that type of dance. Cory has always been a great dancer so I knew I would have fun with him, but this exceeded my expectations. when we got home he surprised me with my presents: picture frames to hang from the rod he bought me last year along with 4 roses. Later that night we went out to dinner with some friends to wrap it up. </div><div><br /></div><div>It was a fun day to celebrate 4 wonderful years with Cory. Well I went etsy.com and saw some stinkin cute owl beanies and instantly wanted one for Joslyn. They were running anywhere from $25- $35 for one kid beanie. So I bought a pattern for $4! It took me a week to make it because I had to visit youtube a lot and learn how to do all the different stitches. Plus I visited two elderly ladies from church that were nice enough to help me and give me some tips along the project. I thought it turned out pretty good. Now I wanted to learn how to make baby mittens that will match her hat. It's been a lot of fun learning how to crochet. I feel like I have an actual useful skill now.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898051953277912441.post-82090244976203213602010-11-14T18:56:00.002-07:002010-11-14T19:26:38.081-07:00Joslyn walking!<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dzX7cRuQlRlu_3Y_YwEIPMn7Ur7jC86iW9cs2Usq2h2_7bQynzVy225fUaPKsC2FOKoawkQXs413hzLtqjU0A' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898051953277912441.post-51448978482129294532010-11-09T10:50:00.001-07:002010-11-09T10:52:52.118-07:00Its Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas!Sunday night we ate dinner with my in-laws. Before we let to go home Cory said, "It smells like its going to snow". Well all day yesterday it snowed. While it was snowing Cory couldn't help himself, but he went to Pandoras music online and played Christmas music. I know I know it's not after Thanksgiving, but Cory and I love the snow, and Christmas. We just get soo excited with the first snow fall of winter. <div><br /></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898051953277912441.post-28808206732480993832010-10-31T08:22:00.005-06:002010-10-31T08:38:30.472-06:00Happy HalloweenI kept going back and forth on whether I was going to take Josie Trick-or-treating. I mean people know the candy won't be for her, and I don't want that candy around to tempt me. Well my mom as you know made Josie an awesome Owl costume, and Josie used it a lot this month. She used it when she went to Jen's Pizza Halloween party, she used it when my sister in law and I took the kids to see Melaleuca's trick-or-treating, and again at the Snake River Landing trick-or-treating. <div><br /></div><div>The last two places looked at me funny like where is your treat bag. And when 6:00PM came on Oct. 30th and I saw little kids walking down the streets with their parents, I couldn't help it. I said to myself " who cares what others think, I'm going trick-or-treating with my daughter". I figured if anything this will be good exposure for her. </div><div><br /></div><div>So I waited patiently for my husband to get home from work, and as soon as Cory got home we left. It was soo much fun! The weather was perfect, everyone gave us the good candy since they knew the parents would be eating most of the candy, and everyone loved seeing Josie in her costume! the best part was Cory. He was soo proud to be with his daughter and to do this with her. I kept asking him if he would like me to carry her, and he wouldn't give her up. So the two of them went door to door to the houses that we knew while mom took some pictures!</div><div><br /></div><div>Happy Halloween!</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPRWEajOpA76hpNKynKNYTnqjLnVfMxftE_zwZTh45-CCtfw1iZk-TxMEdALMHDCO_BGP4-UAmKvlugl_3b1gLnQ5UJlTpvE8X1UqYb5CSOu7aB5kqSgHmGMrTh6Oq3PkVcOhavEMr7VXU/s1600/Photo+56.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPRWEajOpA76hpNKynKNYTnqjLnVfMxftE_zwZTh45-CCtfw1iZk-TxMEdALMHDCO_BGP4-UAmKvlugl_3b1gLnQ5UJlTpvE8X1UqYb5CSOu7aB5kqSgHmGMrTh6Oq3PkVcOhavEMr7VXU/s320/Photo+56.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534217885522408866" /></a><div style="text-align: center;">Josie getting ready to go trick-or-treating</div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuPljExPJ4zE_ehygCx92T-oYtyxZ6g_w6zTi_yOfaNl7Z6KSC1fuoFy92ADaJt0yyG31XFsL0FmgMw63bDereVflseNfDMBklbdscXpn0E9yrWoh7TBVagKOMHqqaZ6LBMMCFcYu1npDx/s1600/CIMG2488.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuPljExPJ4zE_ehygCx92T-oYtyxZ6g_w6zTi_yOfaNl7Z6KSC1fuoFy92ADaJt0yyG31XFsL0FmgMw63bDereVflseNfDMBklbdscXpn0E9yrWoh7TBVagKOMHqqaZ6LBMMCFcYu1npDx/s320/CIMG2488.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534217890366500546" /></a><div style="text-align: center;">Josie and Dad in their Halloween costumes</div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgL538DUWRUFPZ4I3pL2uVgeUYFyB7YrrmLZMsdUyCEeNpQarvU7xkPg6dhF5HuWlM1aUrdJpnCTEuQVMzza3uNWcw44_lEHgOy7x7oYgCH50bt_CyuY4ndxPadJwfCaGGtiVJsSu9Qx2Tl/s1600/CIMG2489.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgL538DUWRUFPZ4I3pL2uVgeUYFyB7YrrmLZMsdUyCEeNpQarvU7xkPg6dhF5HuWlM1aUrdJpnCTEuQVMzza3uNWcw44_lEHgOy7x7oYgCH50bt_CyuY4ndxPadJwfCaGGtiVJsSu9Qx2Tl/s320/CIMG2489.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534217900700964098" /></a><div style="text-align: center;">Scary!</div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMyV3_I-euanMc4Qh7C3oHrAm0yM6rDKPX83m5cGhN9M6Q2rx1-x2vjXueFYhy-p5GLA5cy1sA3PRVQVaG9_PNCMHF-ibKU1wuW8nPjU1eynUxlyQOeComEeAlap-kIwartMBr6f6fgrlJ/s1600/CIMG2490.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMyV3_I-euanMc4Qh7C3oHrAm0yM6rDKPX83m5cGhN9M6Q2rx1-x2vjXueFYhy-p5GLA5cy1sA3PRVQVaG9_PNCMHF-ibKU1wuW8nPjU1eynUxlyQOeComEeAlap-kIwartMBr6f6fgrlJ/s320/CIMG2490.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534217902605242418" /></a><div style="text-align: center;">check out all the loot!</div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZjfUj2yDFXIxXwuXwvaJcdmpiXQ4hhXvb-fm6vAHld2n0Zm7rSHayNq1ePXjoBhT8MfHSr-wXt8WeD2trsESASwJlqtvJGOUN2G4W8b562iU_LRMf9gdpv4IYL76dPRmDBr79id4Q7R3O/s1600/CIMG2491.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZjfUj2yDFXIxXwuXwvaJcdmpiXQ4hhXvb-fm6vAHld2n0Zm7rSHayNq1ePXjoBhT8MfHSr-wXt8WeD2trsESASwJlqtvJGOUN2G4W8b562iU_LRMf9gdpv4IYL76dPRmDBr79id4Q7R3O/s320/CIMG2491.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534217912628783106" /></a><div style="text-align: center;">going home after a great 1st Halloween experience!</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898051953277912441.post-38231293027104701132010-10-26T16:26:00.002-06:002010-10-26T16:33:27.556-06:00Beware of Dusting!I asked Cory to remove our two window ac units awhile ago. Well when he removed them I noticed that the windowsills were filthy. So today while Cory was out pheasant hunting I decided to clean the two windowsills up and since I was doing that I decided to clean the blinds too. So I grabbed a bowl and went to town. I was almost done when the very top faux wood thing that covers the top of the blinds fell down and smacked me in the mouth. It knocked my front tooth completely out (the one I just got a crown put on). Right when that happened Cory came home and I told him to make sure Brom didn't come in the kitchen because I was still searching for my tooth and I didn't want him to swallow it up. <div><br /></div><div>When I called the dentist they luckily had an appointment call and cancel so they were able to squeeze me in. Thank goodness because I didn't want to look like the wife of Bubba for Halloween all week long! My dentist says he is going to make me a mouth guard for the next time I need to dust the blinds! So beware of dusting!</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898051953277912441.post-32808791382523960732010-10-22T18:49:00.003-06:002010-10-22T18:54:17.081-06:00Josie's 10 months old!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIPoOk1_NTMtMmOBUqjkwLRhvqIcAoD8CmgohHJclpidXPyM2qMB7mQYUqc-NQZZEzCm7urJYXfOd4SUor0zbOkxEGfByqKf8R_MAaMS3rIMJNe9sCl9o0jFow2aP4p5ZyWdUihAfJolZY/s1600/Photo+53.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIPoOk1_NTMtMmOBUqjkwLRhvqIcAoD8CmgohHJclpidXPyM2qMB7mQYUqc-NQZZEzCm7urJYXfOd4SUor0zbOkxEGfByqKf8R_MAaMS3rIMJNe9sCl9o0jFow2aP4p5ZyWdUihAfJolZY/s320/Photo+53.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5531037429872190290" /></a>Josie has three teeth in now. her two front bottoms, and now her top front one. she likes to say "da da", "ma ma", "no", "owe", and we are working on "dog". she likes to make noises out of her mouth while she wiggles her tongue from side to side, and she like to shake her head no but she doesn't say "no" when doing it. again another thing we are working on. and just recently she has been starting to dance a little when music is on. I was really excited since I just went to a kid halloween party at my friends house so I had some ideas but I was nervous on whether or not I would have everything ready within two days. Well with the help of my lovely sister in laws and a good friend I think the kids ended up having a blast.
