So Cory and I have been reflecting a lot on how lucky and blessed we have been. We have a friend that graduated in the nursing program with Cory and he has a wife and two little kids to provide for and he got let go.
We are so lucky that we both have employers that work hard to allow us to keep our jobs; no matter what job that is. Cory has been working in the ICU, and we recently saw a post at EIRMC that in order to get into the ICU you need at least 10 years of nursing experience. Cory is lucky he got in when he did. Melaleuca announced that they will not let anyone go; even if that positions does not exist anymore, they will find a spot for you... And that is exactly what Melaleuca has done for me.
So I can't help but feel like I need to count all my blessings and be grateful for what I do have!

I hear you sister. A year ago we would never believe we would only be able to survive on one income, and now, miraculously not only can we survive but we have a nice chunk of savings, too.
We're counting our blessings, too! Tell your friend he can make it. And to look into state unemployment benefits :)
yea for you guys! i'm glad you're doing well!
we're totally still on! I'll make some lasagna and we can play some games or watch a movie...whatever you guys want to do. Just give us a call when you're headed down :)
Bummer--I will miss seeing you in Primary but you will do wonderful at your new calling. Who knows, we may not be in the ward much longer?! I love the ward but the Lord may have other plans for us! Who knows though, we are always trying to figure out what we are doing! Glad you are my visiting teacher though! I love visiting with you! You brighten my day and are so cute!
When are you going to come visit me? You're welcome any time. I miss chatting with you every day. I still think you're in marketing because both our last days was the same and I haven't experienced it without you. :( Are you going to Craigo's on Wednesday?
